Ingredients

  • 2  cups kernel corn, canned or fresh cut

  • 3  slightly beaten eggs or 3⁄4 cup egg substitute

  • 1⁄2  cup 1% milk

  • 1⁄2  cup water

  • 1⁄3 cup onion, finely chopped

  • 1 tablespoon butter, melted

  • 1 teaspoon granulated sugar

  • 1 teaspoon white or black pepper


Directions

Preheat oven to 350°F.

  1. Combine all ingredients.

  2. Pour into a greased 1 1⁄2-quart casserole dish.

  3. Place in a shallow pan filled with 1 inch of hot water.

  4. Bake 40-45 minutes, or until knife inserted in center comes out clean.

  5. Let stand for 10 minutes at room temperature before serving.
